The release celebration of our EP "Against the Tide" continues on Nov 14 with a party with a bunch of our friends in Bellingham. Please join us at the Blue Room in downtown Bellingham as we invite Morgan McHugh and Friends for the Ghost for a night of powerful songwriting and energetic Americana Rock & Roll.

On his debut album, Live at Mojo, Morgan McHugh boldly pens his own entry in the decades-old Americana songbook. Across nine powerful songs that showcase a depth of songwriting finesse that belies his youth, Morgan’s musical brushstrokes cut right to the soul.

Friends for The Ghost is an unlikely assembly of Skagit and Whatcom greats performing Americana from some of the most rock-and-roll names that ring out in the deep northwest. Frontman and songwriter Wes Jones is likely a familiar sight if you have a drinking problem in Skagit county. He’s a big feller, but even larger than life on stage. To see Wes in this element is to assume he lives and breathes this hollering, cannonball rock lifestyle. Other outstanding contributions come from Skagit staples of studio and stage. Guitarist Charlie Krengel’s lightning-fast fretwork and tasteful phrasing make him an outstanding fit for any band, rockin’ or otherwise. Phil Carter’s drumming has a sniper’s precision and a flair for dynamic contrasts. Rick Simcock’s steady hand on the upright bass anchors the lineup for a warm and full sound.
